..can You still save me?

Proverbs 28:10

“He who leads the upright along an evil path will fall into his own trap, but the blameless will receive a good inheritance.”

1 Corinthians 4:5

“He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts.”

Relating to the power of vision series and people that I’ve encountered, there is a hope and a future for everyone. I’ve talked to people that feel that they have sinned too much and they are in too deep for God to accept them again. They fear going to church because of they will judged and looked at.

This is my call to them:  you have lived long enough and have been blinded with sin and darkness. The decision to change that is completely up to you. When you come to the realization that you are tired of sinning and living that worldly life, God will be there for you.

God is everlasting, His light will shine where all else fades. Everyone needs compassion and a love that’s never failing, and this is what God provides. As for fearing judgment from other Christians. Don’t fear. Christians are called to love, not judge others and to help you reach a new level with Him instead of judging what you did in the past. The only one that judges us and has the final word is God.

puzzle4 my sister sarah mae..

James 1:3-5

because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

“You complete me.” We’ve all heard or said this one before. The question is, what is completing you? Is it a boy. Perhaps a girl. Or maybe you find happiness in partying, clubbing, alcohol, sex or some other activity.

Okay, now let’s take it back a step. What makes us feel incomplete, where did that feeling come from? Well it could have come from a variety of places:

The past: a broken relationship: you gave your heart away and for some reason or another, that relationship ended in ways you wouldnt of liked and left your heart with voids and scars

The present: stress. expectations. no purpose or motivation. sometimes we feel so overwhelmed that we don’t know what to do in life. Many times over, we feel like giving up and just doing whatever we want.

The future: Can I get this job? How am I going to pay my bills? Ohh the worries..

Now, where did all these voids, sense of incompleteness come from?

answer: The world..full of temporary fixes..

The solution: Allow God to fill the voids in your life. Allow Him to be that missing puzzle piece and complete you. The world is temporary, but God is forever. How do I know? I am a living testimony. I had my heart broken a year ago and when I was done doing things my way, I finally decided to live a life for God, to allow Him to fill the incompleteness in my heart with His love and life has never been better. How do I do this you ask? Pray and read your bible for starters. Go to church. With God, all things are possible, even in the midst of this economic crisis. So my plea to you…draw near to Him and I promise you He will do the same.

persePsalm 84:4

“Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.”

Psalm 119:105

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path”

Tonight was a great small group. I had the opportunity to start one-to-one with not one, but two awesome men of God. Aldrich brought his girlfriend’s sister’s boyfriend Micah of whom I met at service this past service and was thrilled to see how open they are to the word. It’s so encouraging to see people fired up and yearning to come to a deeper relationship with God.

I look at their lives and God gave me part of a vision of what is to come in their lives. They have potential. Potential to do great things for God’s kingdom and it is up to me and others to direct them in the right path. They both want to serve and that is such a great thing because the Bible calls us to serve God by serving others. By serving the church, we can advance His kingdom by allowing others to see our example and see how our lives have changed because we made God the priority of our lives.

In 2 Corinthians, it says “therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. the old has gone, the new has come.”

no matter what kind of life we have been living, we ultimatelty make the choice to start over and allow God to light your path and not the world.

gday1“celebrating God’s gift to men”

Genesis 2:18,21

“The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” ..So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and closed up the place with flesh.  Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.”

Proverbs 31:9

“A wife of good character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.”

Women. Where would we be without them? Even if you think they are God’s curse to men, get that bitterness out of your heart and realize that God created them for us. God is copasthetic- meaning completely satisfactory (thanks summer) and saw that when He created Adam, he needed someone to keep him company. And bam.

To all the men out there, women should not be seen as pieces of meat or the next person to get with, but as our sisters in Christ. God not only made them out of our ribs, but called us to lead them in life and not cause them pain or be the next object of our sexually affection.  Get that lust out of your heart and replace it with respect.

Continue to encourage and help them in their walk with God. They are more precious than rubies and at one point in our lives, going to be the one we wed and give birth to our children.

charm is deceiving, beauty is fleeting, but a woman, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
